Parking in Middelburg

P-route

On the access roads to the centre of Middelburg there are signs with 'P-Route'. This route will quickly take you to the various parking garages and parking spaces.

Center

In the entire city center you may only park on the streets in the marked parking spaces. Parking is paid from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. Maximum parking time, in which zone you are located and the fee varies depending on the location. You pay this fee at one of the parking meters and place the received parking card clearly visible behind the windshield or you log in via a parking app.

Parking garages

The parking garages are easily accessible via the P-Route and you will then be close to the city centre. The parking garages are open all year round, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Parking in a parking garage is subject to a surcharge from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. Except in P2 (Het Groene Woud), paid parking applies here on Thursdays and Fridays until 21:00.

Disabled parking spaces

Disabled persons with a disabled pass may park for free and without time restriction in the parking spaces in the centre of Middelburg. This applies to both the non-personalised disabled parking spaces and the other parking spaces.

Overnight stays at the camper parking lot are prohibited

According to article 5.22 of the General Local Regulation of Middelburg, it is not permitted to spend the night outside a campsite.

Sundays and public holidays

On Sundays and public holidays parking is free throughout Middelburg. This also applies to parking garages.

Blue zone

Outside the city centre there is a blue zone. This is indicated by blue marked kerbs. In this area you are allowed to park for a maximum of two hours on the blue line with a blue parking disc (Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00).
